It’s all in the planning

Essentially a successful kitchen design starts from the inside out. Too often the kitchen plan considers the position of the sink, cooker and refrigerator but overlooks the location of utensils, small appliances and critically, packaged goods. Avoid endless frustration by spending time with your Second Nature designer at the planning stage to ensure your storage is easily accessible and sufficient for all your needs.

The Process

Home Survey – Initially, our designer will visit your home and take all the measurements needed to design a layout. They’ll talk with you about your tastes, likes, dislikes, lifestyle and requirements to get a feel for the kind of room you want to achieve. You may have very definite ideas, or you may be looking for inspiration. Either way, our designer will help in any way they can. We won’t stay for hours on end trying to pressure sell

Design & Plan – In the showroom, our designer will create a layout on our 3D colour computer system, based on your specific measurements and initial discussions. You can then experiment with different layouts, options and styles to see what suits you best and you can view all of this while sitting in our demonstration area, while viewing your plans on our plasma screens.

Installation – You may wish to organise installation yourself… but you will need to project manage a team of fitters, plumbers, tilers, joiners, electricians and plasterers!

Or we can arrange installation with our team of installers. All that’s left for you is to enjoy your new room!
